Welcome to the Aurora 2020 event’s website! The Finnish Amateur Radio League SRAL’s annual nationwide camp is the main gathering of hams in Finland.

The event is held from 10 to 13 September in Central Finnish municipality of Hankasalmi and organized this year by Radio amateur club of Central Finland, OH6AD. Place and venue

The Aurora 2020 event’s venue, Revontuli – The Northern Lights Resort, can be easily approached from the south and west via road 9 to east from Jyväskylä. The site is right beside the road 9 between the cities of Jyväskylä (50 km) and Kuopio (100 km). The resort had also hosted the previous Aurora 2008, 2014, and 2016 summer camps.

Tickets and accommodation

To attend the event you’ll need a ticket. Ticket pre-sales in a webshop on this site. It’s also possible to buy tickets from the event.

If you are planning to stay overnight at the event site you’ll also need accommodation, which the Revontuli resort has many options on. Available are several types of hotel rooms and cabins, and camper van places. Please check accommodation prices and availability directly from the resort.

Food and drink

The resort has a restaurant which serves lunch and dinner. A cafe serving e.g. coffee, pastries, snacks, and ice cream is open all day. A fifties-style American diner can also be found at the venue.

Golf course

The resort has a golf course which is open to visitors. The traditional Hami-Golf competition takes place on Friday.

Revontuli Golf is located in the beautiful lake scenery near the city of Jyväskylä. Partly links type golf course of 18 holes is valued for its fine condition. Accommodation, restaurants and saunas are all located right next to the golf course.
